Forest Of Thoughts

Forest of thoughts

In the forest there’s something for all of us. It’s filled with struggles and success.  The success grows bigger as well as the weeds.  In life we are challenged just as animals are in the forest.

You have the weak sowing, good seeds, but yet taking refuge from the strong and evil.  They remain hidden, knowing once captured their roots will be cut off, known as people of little faith.

Then there’s the proud as it grows expanding its trunk, becoming bigger and boastful.

Then there are the ones in the forest with courage, who continue to walk by faith and not by sight.   Praying and praying, knowing during its dry seasons the mist from the morning dew will provide moisture needed for survival; waiting on the harvesters to gather the weeds, binding them, casting them into the fire.

Which forest of thoughts is in your mind right now?

Let’s look at the Ant and the Elephant, they’re both strong.   The ant can carry more than 10 times its size in weight and the Elephant is the largest land mammal walking the earth with enormous more strength than an ant.

  • Is the ant the weakest by being the smallest?
  • Is the Elephant the strongest because of its large trunk?
  • If the Ant was the same size as the Elephant would it be the strongest?
  • If the Elephant was the same size as the Ant, would it be the weakest?

There are many places an Ant can go, the Elephant can’t.  Most places an Elephant can go and so can an Ant.  Sometime being small has greater advantages than being big.  It’s not about the size.  It’s about your strength.

Psalm 27:14 (NIV)

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Matthew 13:37 (NIV)

The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom.  The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.  The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

When it’s time for the harvest, you must be able to choose the good fruit and turn away from the bad.  “Stay connected to the vine”

Help Get Me Out Of Here!

Close your eyes.. count to three... Now open!

Close your eyes.. count to three… Now open!

I understand where you R. Been there and at times will find myself going back there. Where? Where no one wants to be alone, where there are people and yet they don’t see or hear you, and yet you feel alone. Where everyone talks about what they want to talk about and hear and yet when it’s your turn, you’re left alone. You live in a house filled with people or a mind filled with voices and yet you feel alone. People are everywhere and still there’s no one to talk to…

So you walk around like a big tear drop waiting to fall. Knowing if and when you fall the rain will come and wash your tear drops away. So you hold back and keep going knowing one day the sun will shine and dry all your tears away…..

It seems as though it’s hard getting out of there. You get there and realize the grass is not as green over there. If you didn’t go there, you wouldn’t be here. Now can you see yourself getting here from there?

Help and get me from there to here!

Life may try to flip us from one side to the other. Even though I sleep on my right side, I find myself turning on to my left side. After lying there for a few hours, I managed to turn back onto the right side and all the time while laying on the side that’s uncomfortable I asked myself …”why am I sleeping on the side that’s uncomfortable”? my answer .. “the side that’s comfortable to sleep on got uncomfortable”. When we get to comfortable, the comfortable becomes uncomfortable and can cause us to switch sides. If you choose the right side to find comfort … He promises to keep you in perfect peace as long as your mind stays on Him…… for further discussion read Isaiah 26:3

Where are you?  How did you get there?

It’s as simple to get out of there as it was getting here.

Describe yourself by color ….

Self-Help, Color choices

What color would you use to describe yourself ?

There are many colors to choose.  So many, I truly don’t know where to start.  Let’s say I start with a recognizable movie title, “Lady sings the Blues”.  Does this mean we associate the color blue with a life filled with drugs, depression, drama, gifts and talents that were used and abused?  Or does it mean we color the day blue because of fear and hope intertwined that’s smoldering out a hopeless fire that’s never had an opportunity to burn.

All the fire inside heating up passion, that never gets a chance to ignite, from the gift of love.  Love is there in us; we were created with love.  Somewhere somehow, it was lost or never felt it was given.  This is a hard one to figure out for most, yet simple for myself to think about.

May I ask a question?  Do you love yourself?  To love, we must know love.  Love can’t be measured, only felt from a natural reaction when we act.  The organic roots have been lying dormant attempting to root to find ways around roots that are connected and not growing love, joy, passion, peace and wealth.  Only growing into a ball of confusion, if you don’t start pruning now, these roots will grow together, becoming one.

When we remain withdrawn from letting others into our life, we’re begging to find shelter elsewhere.  We want to be comfortable in our own space.  I understand, if it’s a place filled with love and you can’t wait to get there, if it’s a place to escape from reality and we make choices like drugs, alcohol, or letting others abuse us for sexual exploitation, male or female, remember, we always go back to reality. Even if we choose to live or die, either way, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

We must return home (reality) sooner or later.

‘Do as I say’ or ‘Do as I do!’

Start doing what you say!

Um,  I’m sure you’ve heard this before. If we turn it around and say, “Did I do what I said I was going to do?” Let’s look at it differently ( remember there’s more than one way to skin a cat): Are you doing everything within your power to create the lifestyle of your dreams?

When we constantly procrastinate, it allows fear to build, causing a lack in our lives. When we build on the intentions of not doing what we say we are going to do, before we act, our energy has already reacted. Words are powerful and once spoken, they’ve already gone out into the universe, only to return our true intentions back to us!

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1: 1-3

When you align your true intentions along with the right mindset, you can create the lifestyle of your dream. When your words begin to form, it takes the energy from the mind to the heart out the mouth, sending currents through the universe. It’s all within you!
