Does everything need to have a Reason?

A Reason Why?

A Reason Why?

If everything has a Reason, then, what’s the reason?

The reason is for us to seek from within and then know the reason why He lives and gives us the energy to give for no reason.  If you need a reason to do things for a reason, I would say find no reason to love for it’s the reason why you and I are here.

The Real Reason

Adam was the first man that opened the window for all men to sin, at the time, there were no laws to show his transgressions.  Therefore giving God a reason to create a law for man to know when he transgressed against it, he would be sinning.   Pay attention… It’s not the Law that make man righteous, it’s his faith, believing God has the power to do what he say He would do.  For instance, John 6:35 (NIV) “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

For Example:

Abraham was given credit for being a righteous man because he had faith and believed.  Although he was over the age of One Hundred years and Sarah, his wife, was over child bearing; when God promised him that he and his offspring would inherit the world and he would be the father of many nations, he had faith knowing that God had the power to make good on His promise.

The Law

Where there is a law there’s wrath. Where there is no law there’s no transgression.

Faith

We are justified through faith.  Calling things not seen; as though they were.  It’s better to believe in what you don’t see than in what you can see.  We’ve already been given a reason and yet many still will never believe that God gave His only begotten son for us to have our sins washed away and can’t find within their heart to ask for forgiveness.

Living in Abundance

God wants us to live an abundant life, therefore coming up with a plan filled with love that gives us an opportunity to enjoy love, peace and happiness in the world.  We should take the time to stop and think and listen for the reason our soul is crying out while the melody continues to play to keep us in tune for every season.  Knowing there’s a time and place for everything, and it’s up to us to find a reason to keep the faith, without wavering regardless of where we may be in life.  Faith causes long suffering and perseverance as it builds character to keep pushing through it all; never giving up the faith knowing that God will deliver on His word, giving credit for righteousness for us who believes in Him.

Romans 6:14 (NIV) For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law but under grace.

Change your mind, change your world.  Change your environment by changing your soil.

Shattered But Not Broken

Shattered but not broken. Relationships gone south

Shattered but not broken. Relationships gone south

Walking along the roads of life can sometimes get lonely.  We can find ourselves looking for ways to fit in and not standout.  Fitting where we can, allowing us to use just enough power to slide or glide by where we fit comfortable.  Sometime the comfortable fitting may allow for more room and yet we find ourselves squeezing into tight places.  We fit.  We accept.  We begin not to want more room only desiring to fill the room we are in.   Living in a house of glass allows you to see through to the outer.  If you squeeze into this glass house, over time the glass will began to crack in dry places where there’s no moisture, or constantly trying to hold on to the little moisture provided.  As the moisture slowly dissipates you find yourself stuck on the inside of the glass house which eventually shatters.

As we continue on the road of life, at some point we’ll have experienced a failed relationship.  Just because the glass shatters; it doesn’t have to be broken.  If you’ve experienced a failed relationship, use the clear view you were given by looking inward, and fix what’s broken and not shattered.

This is the time to pick up the pieces, mend and begin to build a new house upon the foundation that has already been laid.  While living in a glass house, take the opportunity to see the light shining through.  Use it as a guide to living a more rewarding life; continuing to build your house on the foundation already laid and that’s Jesus Christ!

Thank God you didn’t live in a house of brick which can block your view.  At least living in a glass house can allow more light to shine through, allowing you to see your way out.

Acts 4:11 (NIV)

He is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.

Forest Of Thoughts

Forest of thoughts

In the forest there’s something for all of us. It’s filled with struggles and success.  The success grows bigger as well as the weeds.  In life we are challenged just as animals are in the forest.

You have the weak sowing, good seeds, but yet taking refuge from the strong and evil.  They remain hidden, knowing once captured their roots will be cut off, known as people of little faith.

Then there’s the proud as it grows expanding its trunk, becoming bigger and boastful.

Then there are the ones in the forest with courage, who continue to walk by faith and not by sight.   Praying and praying, knowing during its dry seasons the mist from the morning dew will provide moisture needed for survival; waiting on the harvesters to gather the weeds, binding them, casting them into the fire.

Which forest of thoughts is in your mind right now?

Let’s look at the Ant and the Elephant, they’re both strong.   The ant can carry more than 10 times its size in weight and the Elephant is the largest land mammal walking the earth with enormous more strength than an ant.

  • Is the ant the weakest by being the smallest?
  • Is the Elephant the strongest because of its large trunk?
  • If the Ant was the same size as the Elephant would it be the strongest?
  • If the Elephant was the same size as the Ant, would it be the weakest?

There are many places an Ant can go, the Elephant can’t.  Most places an Elephant can go and so can an Ant.  Sometime being small has greater advantages than being big.  It’s not about the size.  It’s about your strength.

Psalm 27:14 (NIV)

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Matthew 13:37 (NIV)

The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom.  The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.  The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

When it’s time for the harvest, you must be able to choose the good fruit and turn away from the bad.  “Stay connected to the vine”

Bound By Our Thoughts

Bound by our thoughts

Being bound by our thoughts can oftentime be like a cord of three strands not quickly broken. It’s always the small things that trip us from moving forward.

Have you been holding on to something that has you bound from your thoughts?  I have.  I find when I pray about it, the things that were holding me bound, begin to drift away.  When the small things start to appear, I hold onto thoughts to inspire, knowing…

  • You can’t compare yourself with other people.
  • There’s only one of you.
  • You don’t need man to validate you.
  • You’ve already been validated.
  • Can’t anybody do, what you can do but you.
  • Pray without ceasing.

As I changed my thoughts from words to images in my mind, I began to see a brighter picture. I began to grow spiritually with confirmation.. We must put our heart in it and not our mind.  The heart knows when to tell the mind to BACK DOWN!
